Child's Apron

Yesterday one of my bestfriends made a set of apron & oven mitt for her boyfriend's niece. I LOVE the end result of the apron and I couldn't resist to make one for my cutie pie.

Today I ran to Jo-Ann to get the fabric and made an apron & 2 oven mitts (left & right) since she likes to wear on both hand.

Here's the tutorial if you want to make one too.

Fitted Crib sheet

I bought a cute fabric from IKEA (the top right), and I made a fitted crib sheet using this tutorial. It's really easy and only took me about 45 minutes from start to finish.

Children Bean Bag

I'm in the middle of re-doing my beloved daughter bedroom. Since I'm going to move her crib & changing table to the baby number 2 room. So I was debating either to buy one from the store.. or make one. Since I LOVE this "ultra cuddle" fabric from Jo-Ann. It's $9,99/yard but I have 50% coupon. I only need 3 yards of the fabric.

Anyway, I used the pattern from this site and spent: $43.64 for this "bean" bag. I didn't use the bean bag beans, instead I used the pillow stuffers stuff. So it's more cushy :). And as an accent I put her initial on the top "C" and the bottom "A".

Spent about give and take 2.5-3 hrs to make this from cut to finish.

Elmo!!!

We're going to see elmo tomorrow, so today I went to get some elmo outfit for Carissa and I. But there weren't so many options out there. So I decided to just make it, since elmo is so easy to illustrate.

Bigger Tote :)

I got a gift card to Hobby Lobby as mother's day present from my inlaw, so I grabbed more fabric to make a bigger tote. :) The first picture has a lil pocket on top right corner for Carissa's bottle :).

I ran out black thread, so I ended up using white and grey threads *sigh* oh well :) I still like the bag :).

Check Book Cover

I got too overboard with this, since I have so many left over fabric from the bag. They said I need 1 yard of the canvas fabric, and I probably only used 1/2 yard. So I decided to make the checkbook cover.

Free Pattern & direction to make checkbook cover can be found here.

The Shirt Dress

Today we went to Goodwill and they have 15% off on all clothings, so I picked a pretty color men's dress shirt and transformed it into Carissa Summer Dress.

I hope it will fit her.. I spent about 3 hrs making this dress.

Here's the full tutorial how to make the dress. But as you can see I just added some little stuff like the ribbon as belt and a lil pocket :).
